  • Quiz responses — your playing level, style, preferences, gender, age range, dominant hand, court position, and optional postcode prefix, used to generate racket recommendations.
  • Usage data — anonymised analytics such as pages visited and device type, collected via cookies or similar technologies.

2. Why we collect it

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • To send price alert notifications you have requested.
  • To generate personalised racket recommendations.
  • To improve our service and understand how it is used.

The legal basis for processing your email address is consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR). The legal basis for processing quiz responses and usage data is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).

3. How we store your data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which hosts data in the EU. We retain your email address until you unsubscribe from price alerts. Quiz responses are stored anonymously and are not linked to your email address unless you choose to save your results.

4. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share anonymised, aggregated data with partners for analytical purposes. We use the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf:

  • Supabase (database and authentication)
  • Vercel (hosting)

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for the site to function. We may also use analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate personal data.

Every price alert email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also contact us directly to have your email address removed.
