Our Verdict
The StarVie Drax+ 2026 is a well-considered racket for the intermediate club player who moves between the back court and the net and doesn't want to be punished for playing both roles. The pairing of 12K Carbon Hyper faces with an M-EVA Balance core hits a genuinely useful middle ground — firm enough to generate pace, forgiving enough not to punish mishits. Spin Boost Tech adds a meaningful offensive dimension for players developing their bandeja and lob game, and the Hepta Bridge internal structure keeps the racket stable without adding noticeable weight. The Longer Handgrip and Airflow Design are practical bonuses that improve leverage and swing speed respectively. This is a racket that will grow with a developing player for a full season without feeling like it's holding them back.
Pros
- Off-centre strikes are far more forgiving than you'd expect from a carbon-faced racket at this level, largely because the 12K Carbon Hyper surface distributes impact energy across a notably wide sweet spot.
- Generating spin and effect is noticeably easier than on comparable intermediate rackets, with the Spin Boost Tech texture gripping the ball at impact and giving a player real shape on bandejas and lobs without having to chase technique they haven't fully developed yet.
- Vibration and shock feedback through the arm is well managed for extended sessions, with the Shock Shield rubber frame insert and Z-Shock grip working together to take the edge off impacts without deadening the feel entirely.
Cons
- Players who have moved beyond intermediate level and want a genuinely offensive weapon at the net will find the medium balance and medium-hard EVA core hold back raw smash power compared to a high-balance, harder-core alternative.

Carbon face — stiff construction with direct power transfer. Crisp feel on contact that rewards clean striking technique with responsive ball speed.
The Core
M-EVA Balance (medium-hard density)
Foam core — the softest core material available. Excellent vibration absorption and a large effective sweet spot, making it the most forgiving option on off-centre hits.
